Physical AI Buildathon

On 19 July, the*spark | Pullur Centre transformed into a vibrant maker space as 100 curated builders, from first-time enthusiasts to engineers with patents, came together for a 10-hour AI + Hardware Buildathon. Participants worked across six specialised labs- Audio, Environment, Interaction, Motion, Security, and Vision - to design, prototype, and test solutions that combined the power of artificial intelligence with physical hardware. Throughout the day, builders collaborated, experimented, and learned from one another, bringing ideas to life under tight timelines. Supporting them was a dedicated team of on-ground mentors, alongside an accomplished judging panel comprising Aryan Yadav (NeoSapien), Srinivasan M (PCB Cupid), and Ankit Acharya (Cautio). Their technical guidance, feedback, and industry perspectives helped teams refine their ideas and push their prototypes further.
