24-Hour Hackathon
05/09/2026
event overview
120 builders. 24 hours. One rule: ship something people actually want.
We brought together 120 builders in Bangalore at the*spark | Pullur Centre for a 24-hour build challenge designed to push teams beyond the usual hackathon format. The goal wasn't simply to stay up all night, write code, and present a polished three-minute demo. It was to build something real, put it in front of real people, and find out whether anyone actually wanted it.
Teams started with a problem and had 24 hours to turn their ideas into working products. Along the way, they had to get out of the building, find potential users, test their assumptions, gather feedback, and adapt their products based on what they learned. The strongest teams went a step further, getting their first users and even securing their first payments.
The focus was on real-world validation rather than hypothetical traction. A great idea meant very little if nobody wanted to use it. Builders had to prove that their products could solve an actual problem and create enough value for people to engage with them. At the end of the 24 hours, the top 10 teams had the opportunity to take their products beyond the event and put them in front of VCs, founders, and hiring managers. What started as a 24-hour challenge became a chance to turn an early idea into something with real momentum, feedback, connections, and possibilities beyond the room.
