The Science of Perception – Neuroscience and AI

We had the pleasure of hosting Dr Arun from the Centre for Neuroscience, IISc, at the*spark | Pullur Centre for an evening that explored the fascinating science of human perception. Through a series of interactive experiments, our space transformed into a hands-on perception lab, where participants experienced just how remarkable and wonderfully complex our everyday senses really are. From understanding how our brains process information to discovering why human perception continues to outperform even the world's most powerful supercomputers in many ways, the session brought together science, curiosity and play in equal measure. A heartfelt thank you to Pint of View, Harsh and Shruti for bringing this experience to our community, and to Umami Brew for keeping everyone refreshed with their delicious kombuchas.
