SVP India Bangalore Chapter Partners Meet

A warm, reflective and energising Saturday morning at the SVP India – Bangalore Chapter | All Partners Meet on 8 May 2026. The gathering was a peer learning session for Lead Partners through a format that felt both thoughtful and practical, old and new partners came together in small groups to reflect on their first quarter as a Lead Partner, the assumptions that had shifted, and the one thing every new partner should know before beginning this journey. This was followed by a rich panel discussion on what it means to be a Lead Partner. A few themes stood out strongly: enter with humility, listen before solving, recognise that no one partner can solve everything, and learn when to step in and when to step back. There was also an honest conversation on understanding whether an organisation is capital-ready, and on the importance of partners taking care of themselves so they can stay in the work without burning out. Some felt partners should enter with all heart; others spoke about the value of thoughtful distance. Perhaps the answer lies somewhere in between, deep commitment, held with humility.
